Gold Muzzle Auctions (GMA) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Analogy Media Pty. Ltd., a Digital Production and Marketing company which is owned and operated by long-term industry professional, Mark Duclos.
Mark's introduction to greyhound racing came in the mid-1970's when he was mentored by greyhound racing industry stalwarts Ron and Nancy Rudd, who at the time operated Berowra Lodge, and who subsequently stood the champion Irish Sire, Waverly Supreme at stud.
Since that time, Mark has been heavily involved in the industry as an Owner, Trainer and Breeder and currently owns more than 20 greyhounds ranging from pups to race dogs and brood bitches.
Mark has also established a successful career in the Television Production industry, in particular in the Greyhound Media sector, and is widely respected and recognised for his innovation in Racing Broadcasting and the marketing and promotion of the greyhound racing industry.
His first foray into Greyhound Racing broadcasting commenced in 1993 when he created the Greyhound Racing Extra series of videos before commencing a long and distinguished career with the national Racing Broadcaster, Sky Racing.
Mark was the concept creator and original Host of 'The Catching Pen' program when Sky Racing first entered the Pay-TV sector in 1998 and following that time, he forged a very successful On-Air and Executive Management career with Sky and is a multiple award winning Journalist and Producer.
In 2017, Duclos 'jumped ship' to join one of the world's biggest Wagering providers, Ladbrokes, when Analogy Media signed a long term contract to enhance the product offering of Greyhound Racing for the Bookmaker.
Establishing a state-of-the-art production studio, in 2018, Analogy Media produced more than 7,500 pieces of Video content for Ladbrokes by providing daily, Video Previews of greyhound races and race meetings across Australia.
If there is one thing that Mark is passionate about, it is undoubtedly the Greyhound Racing industry, which is just one of the reasons for establishing Gold Muzzle Auctions.
He was at the forefront when the Coalition Government launched an attack on the NSW Greyhound Racing industry in 2015, providing extensive media coverage via-Television, Print and Radio (much to the chagrin of his then employers), but his support for the industry and the participants has never wavered.
A key figure in establishing the Ladbrokes Richmond Riches Puppy Auction in 2014, one of the Mark's key objectives in establishing Gold Muzzle Auction's is to provide an opportunity to enhance ownership and participation in the Greyhound Racing industry and by providing a commerical avenue for Breeders to offer their prized stock for sale.
2019 will see the inaugural Gold Muzzle Auction staged at Richmond Racetrack, but our plans are to widen our footprint by conducting Auction's in key Regional area's throughout NSW, therefore increasing the opportunity for owners and breeders to participate.
